Oltre a Cillian Murphy, che dopo il successo della serie originale ha vinto un Oscar per il suo ruolo in Oppenheimer (2023), nel cast del film si sono uniti Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible, Dune), Barry Keoghan (The Banshees of Inisherin, Saltburn) e Tim Roth (Pulp Fiction, Le Iene). Tra i personaggi che torneranno c'è la star della serie Sophie Rundle (After the Flood, Gentleman Jack) che ha interpretato Ada, sorella del capo clan di Birmingham interpretato dal premio Oscar Cillian Murphy, Tommy Shelby. Nella serie, Paul Anderson ha interpretato Arthur Shelby, Helen McGrory ha interpretato Polly Gray, Ned Dennehy ha interpretato Charlie Strong, Finn Cole ha interpretato Michael Gray, Natasha O'Keefe ha interpretato Lizzie Star, Ian Peck ha interpretato Curly, Harry Kirton ha interpretato Finn Shelby e Packy Lee ha interpretato Johnny Dogs.
