As a result, “Zootopia 2” is now the highest-grossing Hollywood animated film in history, and the ninth-biggest global release of all time – coming in just behind “Spider-Man: No Way Home” ($1.9 billion) and “Avengers: Infinity War” ($2 billion). More importantly, it has stayed a box-office performer in the weeks since – climbing to $390 million domestically and $1.31 billion overseas with almost half of that figure coming from China alone ($619 million). “Zootopia 2” has broken many milestones, including being the fastest animated Hollywood film and quickest PG-rated release to reach $1 billion globally, along with the second-highest-grossing Hollywood film in China.
