Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on Sunday appealed to the United States, European allies, and the broader international community following a deadly Russian missile attack on the northeastern city of Sumy during Palm Sunday celebrations. The attack, confirmed by Zelenskyy, killed at least 31 people in Sumy, after a Russian ballistic missile struck a central area of the city where families had gathered to observe one of the most sacred days on the Christian calendar. “I thank everyone involved in helping people at the site of the strike: emergency medical teams, the State Emergency Service, the National Police, municipal services, and volunteers.
