The discovery came about when a 52-year-old worker was carrying out earthworks at a project site in Kampung Air Panas in Bemban here. A team from the Weapons Unit was deployed to the location at 3pm on Wednesday after a call was made to the Bemban police station. Supt Lee said the bomb would be detonated in accordance with standard operating procedure to ensure the safety of the public and the surrounding areas.
