Born Sofía Daccarett Char in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on April 10, 1993, Char, who uses her mother’s maiden name Carson as her professional name, made her screen debut in a guest role in a 2014 episode of the Disney Channel series Austin & Ally. Carson reprised the role of Evie in the TV movies Descendants 2 in 2017 and Descendents 3 in 2019, as well as the TV special Descendants: The Royal Wedding in 2021.
