Steve Witkoff, Mr Trump’s peace envoy, was caught red-handed coaching the Russian side on how to appeal to his boss’s better nature, according to the transcripts of several phone calls that were leaked on Tuesday evening. Several parties may have wanted to leak details of the envoy’s calls with Yuri Ushakov, the Kremlin’s top foreign policy aide, and a separate conversation between Mr Ushakov and Kirill Dmitriev, Putin’s point man in the peace talks. There needs to be a Do Not Rehire Executive Order that eliminates all Obama Army and White Hospice from any federal government position consideration -- from the lowliest DEI hire to the Federal Judiciary; and a Do Not Rehire Act that makes that permanent.
