Seattle Mariners backstop slugged his 54th home run of his historic 2025 season on Sunday afternoon, tying Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle for a most home runs by a switch-hitter in a single season in baseball history. Raleigh has the edge in home runs, the Yankees captain has the edge in WAR, and both teams are in contention. Including his 47-game debut in 2021, Raleigh's 93 home runs from 2021-24 were the most ever for a catcher in his first four big-league seasons.
