The renowned outlet, The Washington Post, under the ownership of billionaire Jeff Bezos, informed employees today that the sports section, several foreign bureaus, and its book coverage will all be heavily affected. Johnson is just one of hundreds who will be left without a job as the company downsizes in an attempt to scrape back the losses it has suffered in the last decade of Bezos ownership. The losses for the outlet, despite being pocket change for the space-faring Amazon owner, were still enough for him to cut a third of the jobs from the previously left-leaning outlet.
