THE promise of a wartime treasure ended only in loss for a Malaysian businessman who forked out RM50,000 for a “German External Loan Box” that never arrived, Harian Metro reports. The 45-year-old victim, who wanted to be known only as Ismail, said that, despite making the payments, the supposed box never came. Harian Metro reported that the weekend sales have also attracted customers from as far as Melaka looking to add to their collections.
