In the new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, we see Ned and MJ watching Spider-Man on television as he's awarded the key to New York City in a large public ceremony. While seemingly innocuous, the official giving Spider-Man the key appears to be Sheila Rivera, whom MCU fans should recognize as Wilson Fisk’s campaign manager and senior political advisor once Fisk secured the mayor’s office in Daredevil: Born Again season 1. Not only is Jon Bernthal's Punisher confirmed to be appearing in Brand New Day as well as his own MCU special this summer, but there are also hopes that Daredevil himself might appear in Brand New Day as well, beyond his upcoming war with Kingpin in Born Again season 2.
