Musk’s statement came in response to an X post from Jesse D. Jenkins noting that the latest draft of the bill, which senators received early on Saturday morning, “raises taxes on all wind and solar projects that haven’t begun construction today unless they are placed service by end of 2027.” Paul has argued he wants to see an extension of 2017 tax cuts put into their own bill as the president has set a July 4 deadline to pass the budget.
