The United States and Russia have agreed on a meeting "in the coming days" between President Trump and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin said Thursday. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Wednesday that Russia suggested a meeting between Mr. Trump and Putin, and Mr. Trump is "open" to the idea of a meeting with both Russia and Ukraine's leaders. The U.S. president called the hours-long meeting "highly productive" and wrote in a Truth Social post that "great progress was made" — a change of tone after Mr. Trump expressed frustration with Russia for much of last month.
