Vice President JD Vance and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi boasted of crafting “a roadmap for further discussions about our shared economic priorities” that would lead to an agreement promoting “job creation and citizen well-being in both countries” and “enhancing bilateral trade.” The result could be terrific — not just for America but the world, given the benefits of free and fair trade and the end of escalatory pain and uncertainty.
