Trump has brokered a number of ceasefires and peace deals since returning to office, the most prominent being the agreement between Israel and Iran after the “12-day war” between the countries. “After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE,” Trump wrote on Truth Social at the time.
