In a statement, Netanyahu’s office said the two leaders had discussed negotiations with Iran as well as developments in Gaza and around the region and they had “agreed to continue their close coordination and relationship”. “I will present to the president our outlook regarding the principles of these negotiations – the essential principles which, in my opinion, are important not only to Israel, but to everyone around the world who wants peace and security in the Middle East,” Netanyahu said Tuesday before leaving Israel. The UN nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), had said Iran was the only country in the world to enrich to that level that was not armed with the bomb.
