The phone call between the Russian and US advisors - where Mr Witkoff told Mr Ushakov that Mr Zelenskyy was coming to visit the White House and suggested Mr Putin speak to the US president - was reported in full by Bloomberg. Mr Witkoff reportedly said that "the president will give me a lot of space and discretion to get to the deal," before speaking of the 20-point Gaza peace plan, suggesting that "maybe we do the same thing with you".
