President Donald Trump on Tuesday goaded troops at Fort Bragg to boo the media personnel in attendance as he railed against the “fake news.” His administration recently restored the name “Fort Bragg” after the previous administration changed it to “Fort Liberty.” That change came after it was determined that institutions could no longer be named after those who sided with the Confederacy during the Civil War; and Bragg was initially named after Confederate General Braxton Bragg. “And for a little news for a the fake news back there — the fake news,” Trump said.
