Sources tell Bloomberg that China has ordered the country's airlines to stop taking deliveries of Boeing aircraft, as well as parts and equipment from American companies. The sources say the order came after China raised retaliatory tariffs on imports from the US to 125%, more than doubling the cost of US-made aircraft and parts. The company has seen a steep decline in sales to China since 2018, but it has delivered 13 737 Max jets and three 787s to the country this year, with 28 Max and one 787 still to be delivered, JPMorgan analyst Seth Seifman says, per Bloomberg.
