After Netflix bought Warner Bros., Sarandos shared that, "I'd say that right now you should count on everything that has planned on going to the theaters through Warner Bros. will continue to go to the theaters through Warner Bros." This includes a robust slate in the coming years that features Man of Tomorrow, The Batman - Part II, and The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum. Despite this commitment to keeping Warner Bros. movies in theaters, there are still concerns about the longevity of this plan, and the possibility that all movies under the Netflix umbrella will eventually be streaming exclusives or have limited theatrical releases.
