The Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum and Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, said the forum was delighted to welcome Mutfwang, whom he described as a valuable addition to the party and the governors’ body. “My decision to join the APC is not to take over the party structure but to add value and work with all stakeholders to ensure the success of the party and the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” Mutfwang said. Mutfwang also thanked the President for promising key projects, including the Akwanga–Jos Road and a livestock development initiative, assuring that Plateau State would be a major asset to the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
