I've heard great things about it, though, and have always wanted to try it at some point — and now I can, thanks to a huge extended Cyber Monday deal that knocks the $49.99 price of the PC version down to just $36.99 at Loaded. Unraveling the mystery behind the appearance of the strange supernatural creatures you're fighting is also a big part of the story, which many have praised for excellent worldbuilding and rich lore — even if the characters themselves aren't the greatest. While it's like Soulslike games in the sense that it's a melee-focused action RPG with similar types of mechanics, it's more of an action-adventure game in actuality, with a semi-open world that promotes non-linear exploration and features the occasional puzzle as well.
