On Thursday, the president fired back furiously on Truth Social, accusing the lawmakers of “treason” and “seditious behavior,” saying Ms. Slotkin and the others should be arrested and put on trial. Further, the military unjustly discharged those who refused the vaccine, regardless of the years of service given to our Nation, after failing to grant many of them an exemption that they should have received.” They also managed to suppress the growing toll of reported adverse incidents (1.7 million in the U.S. as of this March) such as myocarditis cases, and also the fact that young, healthy people – like most of the military refusers – are not at risk for serious illness from COVID.
