Then missing two months with a hamstring issue and then getting hit on the hand with a pitch, but he hit the ball hard when he was in the lineup and, of course, played terrific defense. He did seem to be the one guy who was immune to the ‘make contact’ approach at the plate (he had the highest strikeout rate on the team). He’ll have a good week or two, and we move his up in the order, just in time for the streak to end.
