DC had previously announced the launch of "The Reign of The Superboys," a storyline putting the spotlight on all variations of the character active in the current DC line, with Superman going missing in 2026 (along with some surprise additions). The main cover art for the issue confirms that not everyone is eager to accept Superboy Prime's return to the light, with several major heroes aligned against him (for the many atrocities he committed during Infinite Crisis, Blackest Night, Death Metal, and more). But as this tortured soul finds better role models, a new identity, and a simpler Superman suit, all while aging from an adolescent into a man, we have to ask... is this the birth of the new Superman Prime?
