Maisy Stella (“Nashville”) and stage actress Tatum Grace Hopkins have been cast in the lead roles of Chloe and Max, respectively, in the TV series adaptation of the “Life is Strange” video game series. As she struggles to understand this new skill, the pair investigate the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student, uncovering a dark side to their town that will ultimately force them to make an impossible life-or-death choice that will impact them forever. Amazon has multiple game-to-TV series adaptations in the works, including the currently in production “God of War” and “Tomb Raider” series along with “Mass Effect,” “Wolfenstein,” and “Warhammer 40,000” all currently in development.
