It says the achievements, especially in producing and using advanced defense products, including in the field of aerospace, has made Iran a pioneer in the region and among the few countries in the world that possess these technologies and the accomplishment made by the Ministry of Defense largely goes to the administration's programs and activities targeting various areas in the past year. In the first year of the current administration, the Ministry of Defense took numerous steps to participate in natural disaster management by leading the country's aerial firefighting control and support center, and utilizing the capacity of the Armed Forces. With regard to the combat power of the Armed Forces, the report cited steps leading to a 87 percent increase in the production of defense-related products, including designing and manufacturing various types of ballistic missiles, combat and reconnaissance drones, as well as overhaul of various tactical and floating vehicles.
