Also in the early days of the fair, French dealer Almine Rech sold a delightfully feminine portrait of a woman by Marie Laurencin—priced between $300,000 and $350,000—a figure who was extremely active within the same Parisian artistic circles of the early 20th Century but has only recently been reconsidered by the market.
