The “All the Way Home” singer took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Aug. 19, to reveal that she “almost died” over the weekend. Back in 2020, Braxton was rushed to the hospital for a “possible overdose” after her then-partner, David Adefeso, found her unconscious in a hotel room in Los Angeles, Calif., and called 911. “Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day – more information will be coming in the next few days,” a spokesperson for the Braxton family said in a statement at the time.
