During the screed, the far-left Michigan congresswoman lambasted supporters of Israel and accused both Israel and the United States of starving children in Gaza, and of using military force to “kill and torture and kidnap’ people around the world.” Tlaib also appeared at the controversial gathering in 2024, along with fellow speakers like Wissam Rafidi, a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, who has called the United States the “head of the serpent” and “the greatest liars in history.” The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine is partially and directly responsible for multiple suicide bombings, attacks, assassination of Israeli officials and airplane hijackings to advance their cause for a Palestinian state.
