The women at the community kitchen in the besieged Sudanese city of el-Fasher are sitting in huddles of desperation. The hunger crisis is compounded by a surge of cholera sweeping through the squalid camps of those displaced by the fighting. The medical charity Doctors Without Borders (MSF) on Thursday said Sudan is experiencing the worst cholera outbreak the country has seen in years, fuelled by the ongoing civil war.
