While films produced by Studio Ghibli regularly focus on fantasy and contain environmentalism themes, Grave of the Fireflies is one of the rare exceptions here as it is based on the personal accounts of World War II survivor Akiyuka Nosaka. Grave of the Fireflies' case design looks more like last year's The Boy and the Heron Steelbook release than the earlier releases in the Studio Ghibli Steelbook series. The list above includes the majority of Studio Ghibli's movie catalog, but some of the legendary Japanese studio's animated films aren't available with steelbook cases.
