As an aide to him, Sohi was able to report back to the Separatists with this information, which more than likely led to the deaths of thousands of clone troopers as a result - and many lost battles. It's difficult to say exactly what that role was, but what this story based on The Bad Batch does prove is that the Republic was in more danger than we ever truly imagined during the war.
