Sasaram: A local court in Rohtas on Monday sentenced seven brothers to life imprisonment in a 12-year-old murder case that took place in Chhittan Dehra village under Kochas police station area. The convicts — Rangila, Ravindra, Virendra, Yogendra, Rajendra, Ramesh and Umesh Pal—all residents of Chhittan Dehra village, were found guilty of murdering Ambika Pal, a peon at Sant Shivanand College, on Sept 16, 2014. He was allegedly attacked with sticks and rods outside his house and he died on the way to hospital.
