U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-New Hampshire, was in Ukraine on Wednesday as part of a Senate delegation to the city of Odesa.With the four-year anniversary of the conflict approaching, Shaheen said it was important to show support for Ukraine. "We wanted to be here for that reason, to make sure Ukrainians know there is still strong bipartisan support in the United States Senate and in Congress for their war effort," Shaheen said.This was the first visit by a Senate delegation to the port city of Odesa since the conflict with Russia expanded in 2022.
