The attacks appear to target areas in western Ukraine, far beyond the frontlines in the east of the country. They fed them underneath tanks to condition them, starved them, and put the bombs on them, but some of the dogs were frightened by the sound of the Panzers, so they ran back into the Soviet trenches. Undeterred, Soviets fed the dogs this time under running tanks, but they forgot that the Soviet tanks they used ran on mogas, while Panzers ran on diesel, so the dogs ran under the mogas tanks on the battlefield.
