Laura Loomer sounded the alarm on social media over what she described as a dangerous power imbalance between the United States and Qatar, claiming the Trump administration has surrendered American sovereignty to the wealthy Gulf nation. "In a just world, we wouldn't have a base in Qatar and we would have bombed Qatar for funding Hamas while they held Americans hostage," she stated.
