He controlled the rest of the round, evening up the fight heading into the third. He hurt Whittaker and put him on his back foot, but Whittaker fired back and floored de Ridder with a huge shot! Back in the open, de Ridder’s long jab was finding the mark, as Whittaker looked to fatigue to strike with his usual fluidity.
