THR reports that Netflix is developing an adult animated series based on Powers, the long-running comic series written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by Michael Avon Oeming. Both creators are involved in the Powers animated series, with Bendis writing the pilot and Oeming “ participating in the visual development for the show. The feature film adaptation of the graphic novel by Bendis and Marc Andreyko tells the true story of Eliot Ness investigating a mysterious serial killer known as the Cleveland Torso Murderer.
