In a post to X on Monday, the tech billionaire criticized the “insane spending” of President Donald Trump‘s signature “big, beautiful” bill and called for a split from the rule of Republicans and Democrats. Though it’s unclear whether he’ll follow through on the threat to influence future elections, Monday’s post bashing the Trump admin is merely the latest broadside in the war of words between the former bosom buddies. The feud between the tech tycoon and the president has led the latter to claim Musk-manufactured Teslas are junk and the former to call for Trump’s impeachment.
