Kulback noted that in 2024, Garrity recorded over 3.5 million votes, the most in a statewide race in Pennsylvania history and breaking the record previously held by Gov. Maggie’s List is the latest endorsement for Garrity, who has received the backing of the Pennsylvania Republican Party, GOP state Attorney General Dave Sunday state Auditor General Tim DeFoor, and former Republican U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum. While Garrity is considered the GOP frontrunner to take on Shapiro in 2026, state Sen. Doug Mastriano continues to ponder a potential second run for governor after losing to Shapiro in the 2022 general election.
