Amnesty International and Medico International, which co-organized the "All Eyes on Gaza" rally, again urged the German government to press harder for Palestinian rights and to withdraw support for Israel’s military campaign. Nearly two years after the start of the Gaza war, about 60,000 people marched through central Berlin on Saturday, according to police, while organizers put the number closer to 100,000. Demonstrators called for an immediate halt to German arms exports to Israel, humanitarian access to Gaza and EU sanctions on Israel, accusing the Israeli government of committing "genocide" against Palestinians.
