“Here I am advocating once again to make the outdated practice of changing the clock a thing of the past,” he said. Clinging to daylight saving time is like holding onto rotary phones in the age of smartphones; it no longer fits the way we live. On the other hand, Hanna Summers, a sophomore at the U, said, “I hate the way it goes from the sunset setting so late to changing to so early … I feel so unproductive with my day.” Student opinions are mixed, just like the rest of the nation.
