At a press Q&A with Tom’s Hardware during GTC 2026, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang pushed back on the growing backlash, dismissing claims that DLSS 5 makes games look worse or imposes a uniform “AI look” across titles. “The reason for that is because, as I have explained very carefully, DLSS 5 fuses controllability of the geometry and textures and everything about the game with generative AI,” Huang added.
