Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy denied Russia's allegation about the attack on Mr Putin's home — which came the day after he met with US President Donald Trump in Florida to discuss a deal to end the war — dismissing it as "another round of lies from the Russian Federation". Meanwhile, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk — a fierce critic of the war in Ukraine — has expressed hope about the conflict ending following talks at the weekend, after which Mr Zelenskyy said an agreement had been reached on a US-Ukraine security guarantee. "The key result of recent days is the American declaration … [of] willingness to participate in security guarantees for Ukraine after a peace agreement, including the presence of American troops, for example, on the border or on the line of contact between Ukraine and Russia.
