Bengaluru: Legal experts have criticised the city's latest waste management initiative, declaring that dumping garbage in front of the homes of offenders is unlawful and contrary to municipal norms.The Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited (BSWML) recently launched ‘Kasa Suriyuva Habba', a campaign aimed at shaming residents who dispose of household waste in public places. "We went to court against that too," he added.Mohan called for scientific handling of waste and strict adherence to the Solid Waste Management Rules framed by the Union govt.Advocate Vasanth Adithya described the campaign as "ridiculous".
