A No Kings protester fell for one of the most transparent wordplay traps in recent memory when a comedian asked her about the fictional “gays of Hormuz” at the March 28 Manhattan rally. “Isn’t it a little bit homophobic that we’re so focused on the straits of Hormuz and not the gays of Hormuz?” he asked, according to video posted on YouTube. The woman wore a “deport the racists” button decorated with flowers during the exchange, the New York Post reported.
