The game is powered by Unreal Engine 5 and "enhanced with proprietary tools and technologies by the studio," offering players a unique and original story told from the perspective of commoners in the final years of the Tang Dynasty in Ancient China. NetEase isn't a stranger to wuxia-style games, and the company actually served as a publisher for Everstone Studios' open-world RPG, Where Winds Meet, which is set in the same period as Blood Message. While information about Blood Message is fairly limited at the moment, and we only have the reveal trailer, the footage in the trailer is very promising.
