Oh, and I bought like 90% of our furniture and decor but sometimes feel like I don’t get to enjoy our living area as much because she’ll have boyfriends/ friends over (she’s very social and I am the exact opposite) and when she does I basically lock myself in my room. the only fun but bad roommate story I really have is when I was a senior in college (yes, I had to share a room even then, because my alma mater was stupid) I got a randomly assigned roommate who had somehow managed to go her entire childhood + college life never having to share a room EVER and whew did it show. also several years later I ran into the boyfriend while I was out and about and I was like oh man I remember you, are you still dating [roommate] and he was like lol no and I was like well good, she might have been the most selfish person I've ever met and he was like yeah haha I don't disagree
