In addition to Pellegrino, Milan are following Strasbourg’s Joaquin Panichelli, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jonathan Burkardt, and Roma’s Artem Dovbyk, while Suzuki would be one of their top options in the likely event Mike Maignan leaves at the end of the season. Even though he doesn’t necessarily score a lot, but he’s in a team that doesn’t produce much offensively, he’d be a nice compromise between purchasing a proven veteran and a touted starlet from abroad, as he’s already familiar with Serie A. The main problem is that he’s more of a summer signing than a January one, while they could use the help now.
