Bumping elbows with rich socialites is a prototypical Bond activity, but the clandestine infiltration side is a favorite pastime of another iconic character: Metal Gear Solid's Snake. Snake is sent on a one-man infiltration mission into the Soviet Union to locate and extract Dr. Sokolov, a weapons scientist who had previously attempted to defect to the United States. Snake is a member of a fictional CIA unit known as FOX, working on a clandestine operation in the interest of the United States during an alternate history of the Cold War, but that's about as far as any semblance of realism goes.
